Max Hardy prosecuted a man arrested in 2020 for a rape committed in 1999

A man arrested in 2020 for a rape committed in 1999 was prosecuted by Max Hardy at Snaresbrook Crown Court. The defendant's DNA was found to be a match with DNA seized from the crime scene.

He was initially caught after he was arrested for an unrelated matter which led officers to re-open the rape case.
