Justin Hugheston-Roberts successfully defends a man accused of rape

A middle aged man accused of raping a former girlfriend over the Christmas period of 2022 was acquitted following a 4 day trial.

The jury at Warwick Crown Court took only 1 hour 20 minutes to come to their decision.

The man who gave his evidence from a wheel chair in court denied any improper sexual conduct saying at all times he acted with the full consent of the complainant.
