Jonathan Akinsanya secures unanimous acquittal by a jury of a client charged with multiple offences of rape and coercive and controlling behaviour

The prosecution alleged that over the course of 8 months Jonathan’s client had raped (vaginally and anally) his partner on multiple occasions between January 2023 and August 2023. In addition, the prosecution alleged that during the same period he subjected the complainant to coercive and controlling behaviour).

Following a five-day trial at Woolwich Crown Court Jonathan’s client was unanimously acquitted by a jury of all charges against him.
