Emma Heath secures acquittal for client charged with rape, sexual assault, non-fatal strangulation and false imprisonment

The prosecution alleged that Emma’s client committed these offenses against his then ex-partner over the course of an evening, with the allegation of non-fatal strangulation occurring three weeks prior.

After a 7 day trial the jury unanimously acquitted Emma’s client of rape, sexual assault, non-fatal strangulation and false imprisonment. The case was prosecuted by King’s Counsel and was heard before the Oxford Crown Court.
