SEAN SULLIVAN SECURES ACQUITTAL IN ATTEMPTED MURDER TRIAL

07 December 2018

Sean has successfully defended a homeless defendant accused of attempted murder when he was alleged to have stabbed his friend seven times to the chest and body.

In a four day trial at Birmingham Crown Court, Sean cross-examined the complainant to demonstrate that his identification of the defendant as his attacker was not credible. Sean also used the prosecution's own evidence to show that a number of people other than the defendant had the opportunity to carry out the attack. The jury returned with unanimous verdicts of 'not guilty'.
