Patricia May and Jollyon Robertson successfully prosecute a two month kidnapping case at Croydon Crown Court

16 July 2019

The case involved six defendants and a background of drug dealing/drug debts which gave rise to the kidnapping of a 15 year old boy.  During the course of the kidnap and false imprisonment of the victim the kidnappers produced knives and machetes.  The victim was detained at different ‘strongholds’ for what the Judge declared to be a substantial period of time before the police were able to trace and rescue him.

The case involved the presentation of a substantial body of evidence contained in hundreds of pages of schedules.  The schedules included telephone downloads; telephone call/text/Whats App data; cell site data; CCTV sightings; and ANPR data.
