Driving

9BR Chambers are specialists in the field of Road Traffic Defence. We advise and represent clients in a wide range of driving related cases, from causing death or injury by dangerous driving to speeding.

Chambers can provide Barristers at all levels, from Junior to King’s Counsel. Unlike some other Chambers who solely act for the defence, Barristers at 9BR Chambers also prosecute. This means that Chambers’ Barristers can offer vast experience in the field of Motoring Law from both perspectives, enabling them to better understand the systems and procedures and present your case with far greater knowledge and expertise than usual.

Through years of experience, our Barristers have become experts in the often complex and technical provisions relating to Motoring Offences; your case will be in extremely safe hands throughout the process.

We understand the serious personal and professional implications which can result from losing your licence and as such work to provide clear and comprehensive advice, whether or not you are at fault. As such, we often advise clients throughout the investigation stage, including providing written advice and Letters of Representations to the CPS, enabling the best management of your case from the outset.

We are often able to work directly with individual clients under the “direct access” rules. This means that if you have received a Notice of Intended Prosecution, a Court Summons, or have been charged, you can come straight to us- avoiding the need to pay both a solicitor and/or a Barrister.
