Nine Bedford Row regularly presents interesting and topical Lectures and Seminars on all aspects of the Criminal law. The largest conference room at Nine Bedford Row accommodates 50 people comfortably. Lectures for up to 300 people take place in a fully equipped Lecture theatre nearby.

Past events have featured topics such as Serious Fraud and Asset Confiscation, Disclosure, Abuse of Process, the Human Rights legislation, Sentencing, and Defending in Sexual cases.

Speakers have included distinguished academics and specialist practitioners drawn from acknowledged leaders in their fields. These range from external speakers such as Professor Andrew Ashworth QC, Professor David Thomas QC, and David Corker to our own Professor Ian Dennis QC and Steven Kay QC.

Several successful events have been jointly organised with firms of specialist Criminal law Solicitors, such as Russell, Jones and Walker, Corker Binning, Garstangs and, most recently, Fisher Meredith.

Nine Bedford Row is an accredited and approved Course Provider, and can issue CPD hours for such lectures and Seminars.
